Starting Position

Latvia , Lithuania and Estonia are emerging economies and members of the EU since 2004. While Lithuania and Estonia introduced the euro in 2011, Latvia joined the «euro club» in 2014. Having successfully overcome the economic crisis of 2009, the economies of the three countries have returned to growth. Today, they belong to the fastest growing countries in the EU. Wages and salaries were cut during the economic crisis to strengthen competitiveness and remain low by European comparison. While costs for personnel and experts are comparatively low, employees are well-qualified and highly motivated. In this situation, SwissCouronne Ltd. invites Swiss and other European companies to optimize their supply structures by taking advantage of an international division of labor.

Hansruedi Kaiser

Chairman of the Board, contractor for flooring work in the construction business, bridgebuilder and advisor for Adlatus, a Swiss management consultingfirm, lives in Brunnen, Switzerland, knows the Baltic States well and is convinced of the prospects and benefits for both sides of cross-border co-operation.

Indrek Levandi

The Managing Director of SwissCouronne Ltd., is a trained civil engineer, an Estonian national, and lives in Riga / Lithuania. He enjoys more than two years of experience as a construction-site manager in Switzerland and is familiar with Swiss quality standards and practices. He cultivates a large business network and employs several people. In the run-up to the 2014 Winter Olympics, Indrek Levandi was flown to Sochi on an emergency basis to correct a serious construction and planning mistake.

Offer

Architecture / Design
SwissCouronne works in Riga on local and Swiss projects in accordance with customer specifications or design (including project budgeting) and carries out implementation of new construction and refurbishment projects.

Engineering
SwissCouronne performs static calculations (including reinforced concrete structural design, reinforcement and formwork drawings) and all other connected tasks.

Construction Management
In the Baltic States, Russia, Belarus and Ukraine, SwissCouronne takes on construction management of projects in all phases right up to customer hand-over for Swiss and other investors in cooperation with the architect in charge.

Other Services
SwissCouronne identifies and evaluates suitable building sites for clients, and is also interested in working with investors on own projects in the Baltic States and Switzerland.
